About Us

The Central Warehouse is responsible for the material supply of Region Blekinge through purchasing services and depot operations.

The Central Warehouse purchases and stores approximately 2,250 items. The largest customers of the depot are Region Blekinge and Region Kronoberg. The department currently has about 25-30 employees and belongs to the logistics base unit, which also includes the Transport Department and the Department for Care-Related Service Services.

About the Job

The Central Warehouse is now looking for a purchasing secretary who will be responsible for purchasing and monitoring stored consumables and ordered goods. As a purchasing secretary, you will have a close dialogue with goods receivers and warehouse staff to inform about upcoming deliveries and changes in purchases. You will also collaborate closely with the procurement department and material consultants, as well as buyers and suppliers.

Other common tasks include:

Article register maintenance
Forecast updates
Inventory optimization

About You

We are looking for someone with an administrative high school education, as well as a post-secondary education focused on purchasing or logistics, or equivalent knowledge that the employer considers comparable. Experience in purchasing is an advantage. A background in healthcare or experience working with high quality demands is seen as a benefit since we work with requirements from the product safety law and patient safety law.

As a person, you are solution-focused, driven, and self-sufficient. You have the ability to make your own decisions and deliver results. You also have a positive attitude, are unpretentious, and have good collaboration skills. You should have good knowledge of Swedish and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.

About Regional Services

The organization of Region Blekinge is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is regional services. Here, resources for regional properties, property technology, cleaning, logistics, meal services, central warehouse, and customer service are gathered. The main task of regional services is to own, manage, and develop Region Blekinge's properties and rented premises. The area also provides and develops service services within cleaning, meal, material, and textile supply.

The unit for Logistics and Meal Services consists of departments within kitchens and restaurants, cafes and shops, transport and janitorial services, as well as a resource unit.
