The units for elderly authority in Skarpnäck are responsible for authority exercises and follow-up of decided interventions according to SoL and LSS, and we are now looking for a case officer due to parental leave.

We offer

Our office is located at Björkhagsplan 6. In addition to the unit manager, a method developer works closely with the case officers in daily operations. In the elderly and preventive unit, 7 case officers work with authority exercises and 10 people in the preventive activities. Within the operational area, there is also the elderly and administration unit where 8 case officers, an elderly navigator, a transport service, and 2 administrative assistants work, who are responsible for fee decisions and invoice issues.

The case officers in both units collaborate extensively in daily work. As a team, we actively work with quality management systems and development issues.

The case officers have an average of about 50 cases. As a newly hired case officer, you will receive a structured introduction with an assigned mentor. We have a strong commitment to our target group and place great value on collaboration, professionalism, legal certainty, and of course, having fun at work.

Your role

As a case officer, you will work on assessing needs, evaluating, and following up on interventions for individuals over 65 years old according to SoL and LSS. The work involves contacts with many partners both within the City of Stockholm and externally, such as the region. The work as a case officer also includes individual follow-ups, planning discharges from inpatient care, and mapping violence in close relationships. Your work is based on legislation to ensure a legally secure assessment of assistance.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed degree in social work
• Good knowledge of current legislation
• A professional approach to authority exercises

It is advantageous if you have previous experience in case management within elderly care in the City of Stockholm.
