Substitute in Home Care

In home care, you meet people in their homes and in their daily lives.

With care, attentiveness, and supportive hands, you make a difference in the small but important moments that create security and make life work. We are now looking for you who want to work as a substitute with us at Bräcke Home Care.

Your Role

As a substitute in home care, you provide care and support in people's homes and step in when regular staff are absent. This means you become an important part of the team, contributing to continuity and security for our clients. You meet individuals who need support due to physical, mental, or social challenges and adapt to their needs in daily life. With us, you will receive practical training where you accompany regular staff and get to know both the working methods and clients, so you feel secure when you go out on your own assignments.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Services in ordinary housing that you travel to by car or bicycle
• Support in personal care
• Light service tasks in the home
• Accompanying clients on errands outside the home, such as medical visits
• Documentation

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant or caregiver and who enjoys being close to people in their daily lives. You take responsibility, are solution-oriented, and easily adapt to new routines - both in independent work and together with others. With your commitment, you contribute to creating a safe and meaningful daily life for those we support.

Qualifications

• You have a nursing assistant or caregiver education
• You are at least 18 years old
• You can ride a bicycle
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish

Meritorious

• Experience in home care or elderly care
• Driver's license (B)

Bräcke Home Care is centrally located in Alingsås, with starting points on Kolavägen and Plangatan. About 50 employees work here with the goal that more residents of Alingsås can stay at home longer - regardless of age, illness, or disability. Together, we also ensure that everyone who works feels good and thrives.
