We are now looking for an engaged housing support worker who wants to help support our customers in their daily lives in a structured and goal-oriented way.

Your New Job

The housing support group is part of the social psychiatry unit. The group consists of 10 employees, including a coordinator. One employee is moving on to another position, and we are therefore looking for a new team member.

We are looking for someone who sees opportunities, has a positive view of people, and a strong commitment to helping others. The job requires you to be responsible and possess personal maturity. You are a secure and stable person. You collaborate well with others and relate to customers in a responsive and smooth manner.

As a housing support worker, you will support customers based on their individual needs and provide assistance from a pedagogical perspective. Together with the customer, you will work towards the goal of helping them achieve an independent life. You will provide support both at home and outside the home. There will be instances of working alone as you will work independently with customers. The work is carried out both in central Åkersberga and outside the central areas, including Ljusterö.

You are expected to be engaged and see opportunities to find work methods that always provide customers with quality support. You are expected to be a flexible team player who sees all the unit's customers as your responsibility.

As a housing support worker, you are responsible for:

• Planning and developing work together with other colleagues.
• Establishing and following up on implementation plans.
• Writing social documentation.
• Reporting completed hours.
• Performing housing support together with customers based on requests.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in health and care work, e.g., housing support or home care. You should have at least a nursing assistant education with psychiatric competence or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have basic knowledge of psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. It is an advantage if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

You should have basic computer skills and experience with social documentation.

A driver's license is required, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

The job requires you to be self-sufficient, but you should also enjoy working in a team. As a person, you are solution-focused and responsible. You are skilled at creating and maintaining good relationships. You have very good collaboration skills with authorities, caseworkers, and other partners. We place great value on personal suitability.
