A nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their profession and enjoys meeting people in various situations.

The specific competence of a licensed nurse is nursing. This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and the patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' health and medical care needs are met.

As an on-call nurse, you will be responsible for our 8 nursing homes around Västerås during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will work from home but will be part of a group with several colleagues. Together, we plan work shifts through a shared booking system.

You work with care in everything you do, with great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in this role.

Norlandia currently operates 8 nursing homes in Västerås. These are Vedbo, Mälarhem, Daggrosen, Hökåsen, Ängsklockan, Fatburen, Björkbacken, and Hagaäng.

• We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care
• You need to have good knowledge of health and medical care regulations
• You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• We prefer that you have knowledge of documenting based on ICF and KVÅ
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations
• A driver's license is required for this position.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
