Your role as a RAN system engineer in 5G:

We are a team responsible for developing and improving the performance of 5G networks concerning available radio resources, e.g., scheduling, link adaptation, time-critical communication, and antenna control. You will have the opportunity to work with the design and specification of algorithms at the baseband, configuration of 5G networks, and analysis and optimization of their performance. The role involves executing and leading the implementation of new features in the base station, guiding our design and test teams in the development process, and analyzing any error reports at the system level. There is an opportunity to be involved in product development all the way from the idea stage to the deployment of features with large global customers.

Who are you:

The suitable educational profile is a Master's degree or Ph.D. with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, Computer Engineering, or another Master's/University education with a focus on Telecom and communication technology. Solid knowledge of communication theory and signal processing is particularly valuable. We are looking for a person with good knowledge of 3GPP-based communication systems, including 3G, 4G, and 5G, with particular emphasis on the lower layers of the protocol stack. You should have an analytical approach and a strong ability and willingness to delve into complex problems within this domain. We value that you are dedicated and self-driven with excellent collaboration skills. It is important that you have a personal interest and drive to continuously develop your skills as part of a team of specialists and experts. You should have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, as well as the ability to build professional relationships both internally and externally. Basic programming skills, such as in Python, C, Matlab, or similar, are advantageous, as these are used for evaluation and analysis of performance.

As the position involves work that may be subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a possible background check.
