Your role as a Software Developer in 5G

We are now looking for software developers of complex embedded real-time systems within the 5G technology area, where we develop radio base stations for various platforms, such as Cloud RAN. The development includes signaling and simulation of performance as well as other functionalities for telecom services. We work extensively on optimizing scheduling of different users for high efficiency and high performance in the system.

As a software developer at Combitech, you will work within the business area of Autonomy and Connectivity. In this business area, about 200 people in Gothenburg work on exciting assignments in various industries such as space, satellite, telecom, defense, radar systems, mining, and vehicles. Our consultants work both in-house at Combitech in agile development teams and on-site with our clients. For this assignment, you will be placed in our in-house operations.

You will be part of an agile team responsible for the entire product development cycle, including system design, design, and testing of embedded software systems. Examples of languages and tools we use include C, C++, Python, and Git. We consider it an advantage if you also have skills in other programming languages and tools, and are used to working in cross-functional teams. Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are highly desirable.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role of software developer at Combitech, you need to have a few years of experience and a strong interest in technology. You have a master's or bachelor's degree in engineering with a relevant focus. The assignments require good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, and it is advantageous if you are proficient in Swedish.
