The Psychiatric Treatment Section is a general psychiatric outpatient clinic with a catchment area of Piteå Älvdalen. Here, you will find engaged, helpful, and caring employees with the patients' best interests in focus. We have various professional categories such as psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, counselors, behavioral scientists, caregivers, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation coordinators.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a Swedish license and a psychology program of 300 higher education credits or equivalent, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. It is an advantage if you have specialist training, further education in evidence-based treatment approaches and/or neuropsychiatric assessments and DBT competence. You also master one of the minority languages or other languages. Experience in record-keeping, assessment, and treatment within psychiatry, as well as experience in neuropsychiatric assessments, is also advantageous.

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you are stable, quality-conscious, and proactive. You act, express yourself, and make decisions in a considerate and thoughtful manner. You have problem-solving skills and are structured in planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively.

What you will work with

As a psychologist in the treatment section, you will work with assessment, diagnostics, and evaluation, as well as psychological treatment, both individual contacts and group therapy. Remote treatment is also available. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with other psychologists and other professional categories. Internal and external collaboration is an important part of the work at our clinic. As a psychologist, you will play a crucial role in developing both our operations and our range of services and treatments for our citizens.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position during daytime hours. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

Due to the nature of the operations and safety requirements, applicants must be prepared to provide an extract from the criminal record.
