Your role as a developer

You will be part of a team that together develops software solutions for data collection, data storage, analysis, automation, AI, and various types of visualizations. The solutions the team builds are used in large projects within, for example, public sector, process industry, and industry 4.0. The goal is often for customers (based on data) to gain deeper insights into their operations and thereby streamline their processes. The technology and component stack is often based on various Open Source Communities, such as CNCF, which we complement with in-house developed applications.

Our assignments involve building modern systems to create solutions that are innovative and future-proof for our clients. We work with both infrastructure and application development, which gives our employees both breadth and depth in various relevant software technologies. Examples of frameworks, tools, and technologies used include Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm as a foundation, complemented by, for example, Kafka, Quarkus with NodeJS and React. The programming languages most often used are TypeScript, Python, Java, and Go.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is creative and driven by being at the forefront of technology regarding tools and concepts. You have a strong interest in FOSS (e.g., CNCF, LF) and keep up with its news and discussions. We would like you to be a daily user of Linux for some years (either from school, previous employment, or leisure). As a person, you thrive as a team player in an efficient team that helps customers create new opportunities.

A suitable educational background is a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology, or another Master's/University education focused on software development and IT infrastructure. We welcome both experienced engineers and engineers who are at the beginning of their careers.

As the position involves work that may be subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security review.
