The operation started in January 2025 in a newly built house with six apartments and common areas.

Solsidan LSS residence is located in Kallinge.

Job Responsibilities

As staff at the group home, you will support the residents in their daily lives and work based on each individual's needs. There is also network work with other authorities/providers with the individual at the center.

You work from a structured approach and are expected to have a reflective and creative mindset. As staff, we work pedagogically with clarification, schedules, social stories, low-arousal responses, TAKK, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with one of the following qualifications or another equivalent education that we find suitable:

– Qualified vocational education (KY) or higher vocational education (YH) in the field of disabilities

– University education (at least 60 university credits in a relevant area)

– Secondary education in health and care with a focus on disabilities or psychiatry

– Secondary education in child and leisure studies with a focus on social work

You have good self-awareness and can reflect on your strengths and weaknesses. You have a respectful approach and a good empathetic ability. You see the value of good collaboration with colleagues and management. Great emphasis is placed on your commitment and personal qualities.

You are calm, stable, and attentive, and you need to be reflective and analytical in your thinking. It is important that you can take your own initiatives and focus on opportunities and solutions. You should have a strong will and drive to promote people's development based on their conditions. You have a pedagogical perspective and are clear in your communication.

Working hours are scheduled around the clock as the residence is always staffed, and you will work every other weekend.
