Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to strengthen our client's infrastructure and ensure the security and integrity of their network systems. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect critical data and systems from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain secure network architectures and infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and manage incidents.
• Implement firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security tools and policies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and other teams to drive security initiatives.
• Document incidents, processes, and configurations meticulously.

Requirements to apply:

• Academic degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and firewall configuration.
• Practical experience with security technologies such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The following are advantageous:

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security.
• Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Background in incident management or digital forensics.
