Job Description:

We are looking for an engaged Cyber Security Engineer who can support our client in strengthening their IT security. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems and processes to protect critical infrastructure, applications, and data.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and incidents.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses.
• Investigate security incidents and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest threats, trends, and security technologies.

Requirements to apply:

• Academic degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
• Practical experience in network security, application security, or incident management.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The following are desirable:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
• Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Background in penetration testing or ethical hacking.
