Panasonic Fire & Security is growing, and we are now looking for an engaged and business-driven Sales Engineer who wants to strengthen our offering in fire and security solutions. ABOUT THE POSITION
Panasonic Fire & Security Europe AB is a Malmö-based company with 25 employees and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global Panasonic corporation. The company develops, manufactures, and sells products intended for installation in fire alarm systems within industry, commercial properties, and municipal/state administration, as well as selling products for home alarm systems. The products aim to save lives and property in the event of a fire, and it is therefore of utmost importance that the products are of high quality and thoroughly tested.
Panasonic Fire & Security has good profitability and generates over 300 million annually, while the entire Panasonic group generates over 600 billion per year. The company is located in modern premises in Västra Hamnen, a 15-minute walk from the central station.
The role of Sales Engineer at Panasonic Fire & Security is strategically important for the company's growth in the European market. The position includes overall responsibility for sales and business development in Denmark, the Baltics, and Eastern Europe, with the opportunity to contribute to other European markets as well. The focus is on driving complex business deals with sales cycles, from prospecting and needs analysis to quotes, negotiations, delivery, and follow-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
In addition to the operational sales work, you will work as a product manager for selected system solutions. This includes training customers and acting as an important bridge between the market and Panasonic's development team. By capturing customer insights and transforming them into product improvements, the role also contributes to the company's long-term innovation and customer value.
- Be responsible for commercial support to existing customers, focusing on good customer care and fast, accurate service
- Develop new customers in the European market and identify and develop resellers and system integrators
- Train customers, system integrators, and consultants in system usage and technical solutions
- Provide feedback on customer needs and wishes to the development team to contribute to continuous improvement and product development
- Participate in strategic planning and work with forecasts, analyses, and reporting
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has good knowledge of English and masters a Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish)
- Has a technical background, preferably in electrical, installation, automation, or equivalent education
- Has good communication skills and can argue well for the customer's needs
- Has the ability to train customers and provide qualified technical advice
- Holds a B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working with software
- Experience in a similar role previously
- Knowledge of German
