The Health and Elderly Administration is one of Borås City's largest administrations. Our health care organization (HSV) consists of approximately 300 employees distributed in ten health care teams that work daily to ensure good and safe care for our patients.
Are you a licensed nurse looking for a meaningful job where you can truly utilize your entire skill set? Do you want to be part of an engaged team with strong cohesion and colleagues who are happy to share their experiences? Then we have the job for you!
With us in home care, you will meet patients where they are - in their homes. It is a job that requires independence and commitment. We work closely with experienced colleagues within both the nursing group and other professions. We offer a safe workplace and benefits that facilitate work-life balance. We support each other and constantly learn from one another. In HSV, there are excellent opportunities to collaborate both within your own team and between teams. At the same time, in your role as a nurse, you have great freedom under responsibility to work independently and have the opportunity to organize and direct your own work.
When you start your employment with us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction that provides you with good conditions and a safe and stable start to your new assignment. We also offer mentorship once you have completed your introduction and when the time is right. The opportunity to turn to an experienced and knowledgeable nurse for advice and support creates good conditions for you as a new nurse.
Nurse/Specialist NurseJob ResponsibilitiesYour job responsibilities include assessing, planning, and structuring work for individual patients and their relatives based on a person-centered approach. You follow up and document according to current legislation. As a nurse, you work independently and have patient responsibility. You work closely with your colleagues such as nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. If you work in a care and nursing home, you also collaborate with the unit manager and care staff at the facility as well as with the responsible physician. The same applies if you work with patients in ordinary housing, i.e., collaboration with the unit manager and care staff in home care.
Collaboration with various healthcare providers such as hospitals and health centers is part of everyday life. Your job responsibilities include developing the operations and guiding and educating care staff in health and medical interventions.
We know that working as a nurse is meaningful, varied, and developing, but it can also be challenging at times. Therefore, it is especially important for us to have a good working climate, which we create through enjoyment, team spirit, and mutual trust and support in daily work.
