About Praktiska Gymnasiet Täby

We are a smaller high school with a strong sense of community and a strong focus on vocational education. Here, theory is combined with practice, and our goal is for every student to feel seen, motivated, and ready for working life.

About the position

You will be responsible for teaching in the natural resource program with a focus on horses. The teaching is both practical and theoretical, and a large part is conducted at our APL placements, which include riding schools, horse farms, and animal facilities. The position also includes APL responsibility and mentorship for a small group of students.

Your mission:

• Be responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's governing documents.
• Collaborate with external APL placements and ensure that students are given the opportunity to absorb the central content of the education.
• Be a mentor for a group of students and support their personal and professional development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of educational plans and is comfortable working both independently and in a team.
• Is an engaged and reliable adult for our students, with a heart for both teaching and horse activities.
• Has a teaching license with authorization to teach animal/horse courses.
• Is engaged, structured, and has a genuine interest in youth development.
• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working closely with students.
• Wants to contribute to creating a safe, practical, and educational school environment.
