JOB DESCRIPTION

Lessebo municipality is part of the Coordination Association Värend, which consists of Region Kronoberg, the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, as well as the municipalities of Uppvidinge, Växjö, Alvesta, Tingsryd, and Lessebo.

The task of the Coordination Association is to finance initiatives that provide support and rehabilitation to individuals who need joint support from authorities, so that they have the opportunity to achieve or improve their work capacity to be able to support themselves. A coordination association should also support cooperation between the parties. The target group is individuals in need of coordinated rehabilitation efforts from several of the cooperating parties.

The Employment and Welfare Unit in Lessebo municipality is responsible for labor market initiatives and financial assistance and is now seeking an employee to work with individuals in need of support in the Coordination Association Värend's initiative Samkraft Värend.

The position as a coordinator consists of two part-time assignments that together make up a full-time position.

One half of the position is a coordinator role where you provide support to individuals who have health issues (physical, mental, social) or disabilities that they need support with to approach work or studies. The work includes guidance regarding work and studies, collaboration with healthcare and authorities, and assisting participants with applications and communication with authorities.

The other half of the position involves leading group meetings for individuals from the same target group together with colleagues. The group meetings will be based on a methodological support for which you will receive training and will cover personal development, group interaction, light physical activity, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to people, good collaboration skills, and is open to creative solutions for each individual. We would like you to have experience working with motivational interviewing/coaching focused on working life, rehabilitation, and health.

We see that you have a degree from a university in the behavioral sciences or experiences/qualifications that can be deemed equivalent, as well as previous experience working with rehabilitation and/or labor market measures.

A driving license (B) is required.
