About the Position

Edugrade is now seeking an engaged instructor in cybersecurity for the vocational training program Cybersecurity Technician. This role is suitable for you who have at least 2 years of experience in IT security and want to share your knowledge to contribute to the future cybersecurity specialists. The education combines classroom teaching at one of Edugrade's study locations: Hudiksvall, Gävle, Örnsköldsvik, with digital presence via Teams. Teaching takes place 2-3 days a week and is combined with self-study.

Responsibilities

Teach in network security, cloud security, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
Introduce regulations and standards such as NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001, and other cybersecurity frameworks
Lead lectures, supervise labs, and project work
Guide and inspire students, both on-site and digitally
Assess student work and contribute to the quality and development of the education
Collaborate with industry representatives and contribute to LIA planning

Your Profile

Requirements:

At least 2 years of work experience in IT and information security
Practical experience in e.g., intrusion detection, security analysis, firewalls, and penetration testing
Good knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
Pedagogical ability and experience in communicating complex subjects in an understandable way

Meritorious:

Experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching
Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
Experience working in agile methods or in project form
