Licensed Psychologist at Husläkarna in Margretelund

Husläkarna in Margretelund, a well-established medical practice within Praktikertjänst with 12,700 listed patients in the heart of Margretelund Center, Åkersberga.

We are a well-functioning workplace with stable staffing of over 20 employees working together in teams. Here, we focus on the patient and strive to provide the best possible care. It is a strong and competent staff group with many years of experience in primary care. Job satisfaction, collaboration, short decision-making paths, and good communication are our priorities. Our team consists of 7 specialists in general medicine, 1 resident doctor, 1 intern doctor, 5 nurses, 5 district nurses, 2 nursing assistants, 2 administrators, and a psychologist. We have nurse-led clinics for diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, obesity, asthma/COPD, and a rehabilitation coordinator.

Previously, we had subcontractors to whom we referred for psychological and psychotherapeutic contact, but since May 2025, we have a newly established psychosocial clinic with a licensed psychologist on site.

Responsibilities

• Continue to build a psychosocial clinic at the health center according to the principles of integrated behavioral health (IBH).
• Assess and treat adult patients with mild to moderate mental health issues within primary care.
• Mapping, assessment of care needs and care levels, and application of stepped care.
• Consultation and shorter treatment contacts for the treatment of anxiety, stress, depression, crisis, and sleep problems, including group treatment.
• Training and close collaboration with doctors and nurses at the clinic.

There will be an opportunity to work part of the time remotely if desired.

Within Praktikertjänst, there is a regional psychosocial primary care network for exchanging methods and collegial support. You will receive regular internal supervision as well as supervision from the lead psychologist at Praktikertjänst.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist
• Competence in CBT
• Experience working in primary care is an advantage
• Curiosity and willingness to develop the psychosocial team's working methods at the health center
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability
