We want to increase accessibility to NPF assessments and medication treatment for children and young people with neuropsychiatric issues! Would you like to work with us? Are you a specialist doctor in child and adolescent psychiatry, or a pediatrician with relevant specialization and experience in neuropsychiatric assessments? We warmly welcome your application!

About Us

BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of BUP A Way In, as well as currently six neuropsychiatric clinics: Nordost (Mörby), Nordväst (Solna), Sydost (Sickla), Sydväst (Älvsjö) and Väst 1 and 2 (Brommaplan).

The mission is urgent and shared: to assess and treat children and young people with neuropsychiatric difficulties. Here, doctors, psychologists, nurses, medical secretaries, and managers collaborate to provide our patients with accessible, effective, and patient-focused care. The work environment within BUP Neuropsychiatry is characterized by a focus on development, high competence, and quality.

Job Responsibilities

As a specialist doctor, your main tasks will be to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of children and young people together with a psychologist according to national guidelines and BUP Stockholm's process maps, as well as to initiate medical treatment upon completion of the assessment and follow up on its effects in a team with a nurse. You will provide support to colleagues during treatment conferences and case assessments based on your profession as a doctor.

You, like all employees, are an important part of the team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the ongoing development work of the organization. Currently, about 20 other specialist doctors in child and adolescent psychiatry work within the section.

As a specialist doctor within BUP Stockholm, you will also, after the usual introduction, participate in the on-call line as needed.

Qualifications

Applicants should be specialists in child and adolescent psychiatry or specialist doctors in pediatric medicine with relevant specialization and have clinical work experience in the field. You are accustomed to working according to new research and evidence-based methods.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for a colleague who is confident and structured in their professional practice, with good judgment and collaboration skills, who can contribute to a positive work environment characterized by high professionalism. If you are interested in the digitalization of care processes, this is an advantage, as part of the care is provided digitally. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We Offer

BUP Stockholm creates good conditions for you as an employee to develop and excel in your profession. As an employee, you have benefits such as free publicly funded healthcare, additional compensation during parental leave, the opportunity for salary exchange, favorable occupational pension, and insurance. We also offer flexible working hours and wellness compensation (5,000 SEK per year).

There will be opportunities to work remotely for part of the working hours.

Additional Information

Interviews may take place continuously during the application period. A probationary period may be applied.

We look forward to your application!
