Högelidsskolan is a K-9 school located in the eastern part of Mariestad. Adjacent to the school are beautiful green areas and an athletics arena. The middle school has a very welcoming entrance where you are greeted by the café, which is a popular meeting place for both students and staff.

At our school, we actively work to ensure that our youth feel safe, both with themselves and in various groups and constellations.

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 7-9 in biology and chemistry who will be part of our efforts to help students achieve their knowledge goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a teacher in grades 7-9 in biology and chemistry. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment that stimulates students to joyful learning and personal responsibility. Staying up to date with developments in the educational field is a natural part of the role as a teacher. We work with collegial learning, which means you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself, your teaching, and the school's educational work.

You are part of a team that enjoys teamwork and is genuinely interested in creating good conditions for learning. If this sounds like you, we hope to have the joy of working together with you!

You will also be a mentor for students in a class together with another teacher. For this position, there is also the possibility of a role as a lead teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in biology and chemistry. You see the value in teamwork and want to help develop the school's activities together with others.

You have an easy time communicating and can express yourself well in both speech and writing. Digital tools are used in the educational activities for documentation and development, so your experience with digital tools is important. In your professional role, you are a clear leader, have personal maturity, and a professional approach to students, parents, and colleagues.
