to apply for the job
We are now looking for substitutes as treatment staff at Nytida Gylleby treatment home in Sunne for on-demand work. We offer a rewarding workplace, a developing job where you make a difference, training opportunities, and several benefits.
About us
Nytida Gylleby treatment home operates under the HVB permit and we provide treatment and care for women and men over 21 years old with mental diagnoses, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders. The treatment home has two units distributed over 38 care places; a larger unit with 28 places and a smaller unit with 10 places. The smaller unit has a slightly higher staff density and is therefore better suited for individuals with greater psychiatric care needs. The methods used in the treatment work, in addition to medical and CBT therapeutic treatment, include relapse prevention, ESL, ADL training, etc. Our goal is to help provide each person with the individual tools and strategies they need to live a meaningful life.
Among our employees, there are various competencies and extensive experience in working with mental health issues and co-occurring disorders. Our working hours are scheduled for both daytime, evening, weekends, and night.
About the role
At Nytida Gylleby, you will meet people who have different needs for support and care. The work involves supporting and motivating adults with mental diagnoses, psychosocial problems, substance abuse, or a combination of these to a better life. As a substitute with us, you will also be a support in the treatment work. Together with the clients, we engage in activities such as cooking, cleaning, going on outings, exercising, conversing, motivating, and much more.
Documentation is a natural part of the work. You also want to get to know, understand, and be a part of other people's lives and make a real difference.
Your experience and knowledge
To apply, you need:
… to be attracted to a varied job and have an interest in psychiatric care and social work.
... to enjoy meeting people in different life situations.
… to be a secure, attentive, and present person who dares to take responsibility.
… to thrive in working in a team and supporting your colleagues.
We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant, treatment assistant, or equivalent, or have experience working in care and support, psychiatry, and/or substance abuse care previously. However, this is not a requirement for substitutes as we place great importance on personal suitability, interest, and maturity in addition to education.
You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work environment. Additionally, you have a driver's license, good computer skills, and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
You also need to be able to submit two different police record extracts where convictions from the past five years are taken into account.
From us to you...
- Training opportunities
- Collegial supervision
- Benefits portal with discounts and perks
- Collective agreement
- Managers and treatment coordinators close to you in your job
- Clear working methods and routines
- Genuine meetings and experiences that prepare you for the future
