A unique opportunity to work in one of Sweden's most exciting companies as we are looking for advisors based in Halland.

As a production advisor, you will actively work on the development of agricultural companies involved in milk and meat production. Our mission is to provide advisory services in feed, production economics, animal welfare, and management. You will also be part of our Sustainability team.

Your responsibilities include Mainly advising our customers, primarily dairy farms. You will be active in development and support at the customer's site with feeding, feed planning, production economics, logistics, forage, milk quality, technology, and animal welfare. You will also work with and shape the future of sustainable agriculture as part of our sustainability team. This advisory work will mainly take place through the agreement we have with Arla, where we have a mission to suggest measures to reduce the farm's climate footprint.

Other tasks may include holding courses for farmers, being responsible for and participating in various development projects, and working within Greppa Näringen and other contracted assignments from, for example, the County Administrative Board.

Together with Växa Sweden's other staff, such as livestock technicians, breeding advisors, animal health veterinarians, business advisors, construction and crop advisors, we form teams around our customers to develop their businesses.

Suitable education and experience Agricultural engineer, Agronomist, or equivalent academic education.

We place great emphasis on your personal drive and are looking for individuals with strong commitment and the ability to meet people. You have a local team to lean on, but we expect you to take your own initiatives, have a sense of order and can work independently. The work is very independent where you actively plan your customer visits. A driver's license (B) and good knowledge of Swedish are required.

As a person, you are open and receptive with a clear business and customer focus. You find it easy to build good relationships and enjoy collaborating in teams.

Desirable qualifications

We would like you to have practical experience from agriculture and have worked as an advisor and/or salesperson in the industry. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge in business economics and/or roughage production.

Scope and location

Full-time and permanent.

Location: Laholm or Falkenberg.

Salary according to agreement.

Requirements

  • Agricultural engineer, Agronomist, or equivalent academic education
