The position is a fixed-term full-time employment starting no later than September 1st for a duration of 16 months.
About the assignment
In the role of digital communicator, you will work with colleagues in the communications department to manage the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences' various digital channels. We have a comprehensive operation, and you will participate in many projects involving both small and large communication tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in building strategies for digital communication and driving operational initiatives
- Identifying stories and creating engaging content that strengthens the brand
- Continuously publishing content on our various social media channels; LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky
- Measuring and following up on the impact of published content
As part of our communication team, you will also work on other communication tasks in the Academy's various projects, both as a project leader and operationally.
About you
You should have an academic degree in communication or a related field. You are a skilled communicator with a sense of color and form, and you know how to package and tailor messages and content for different target groups. You have experience working with web publishing tools and analyzing the outcomes of digital initiatives. We would like you to be familiar with tools such as WordPress, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and Storykit.
It is beneficial if you have experience communicating research and knowledge of the academic world. You are a team player who finds it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and clients in projects that require planning and coordination. As a person, you are social and positive and have an easy time making connections. You are structured and meticulous, and used to working against deadlines with parallel projects.
