Do you have a passion for fixing cars and solving complex electrical issues? We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician who specializes in vehicle electrical systems and hybrid technology to join our growing team in Gothenburg.

About the Role

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with a focus on electrical systems, hybrid and EV components, and routine mechanical servicing. You’ll work in a professional car care workshop with modern tools and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems (e.g., wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, ignition systems)
• Service and maintain hybrid and electric vehicle battery systems
• Conduct routine mechanical maintenance: oil changes, brake work, tire services, and suspension checks
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues and perform quality repairs
• Assist with vehicle detailing and final delivery preparations
• Maintain accurate service records and contribute to a clean and safe workshop environment

Ideal Candidate

• At least 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• Proven expertise in auto electrics and diagnostic tools
• Familiar with hybrid/EV maintenance is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Good communication skills (basic Swedish or good English preferred)
• Swedish Category B driving license is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher Vocational Education Diploma (Yrkeshögskoleexamen) or similar qualification in automotive electrical systems
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Training in hybrid or electric vehicle systems is a bonus
