Job Description
In the role of project manager for the project "Under the Surface," you will have overall responsibility for the project's implementation and development in the area of racism and intolerance. You will report to the operations manager.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule lectures and workshops and conduct activities for children and youth.
- Responsible for communication and planning with partners, workshop leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for organizing meetings and supporting the initiation of participants' projects and activities.
Plan outreach activities and visits to schools and other venues together with your other colleague.
Qualifications
- As a person, you are good at spotting opportunities and are not afraid of unexpected challenges. You are driven and loyal in your work and curious about new working methods and approaches.
- You are attentive, good at inspiring, and building relationships. You enjoy taking responsibility and planning, structuring, and following up on your work.
- We are looking for someone who is not afraid to "roll up their sleeves" when needed, as we are a small organization where everyone helps each other.
- As a person, you are service-oriented and communicative.
- You have experience working with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. It is also important that you have knowledge and understanding of the conditions within non-profit, public, and/or politically governed activities.
Requirements
- Inventive and able to find new innovative activities and capture ideas.
- Good at working in teams and listening to the needs that are requested.
- Strong ability to work independently and build networks with the municipality, civil society, and other stakeholders.
- Meticulous, structured, and social.
- Pedagogical experience.
- Documented experience working with children and youth.
Desirable
- University education and/or other relevant training.
Employment Type
Project employment until 2026-07-31 with placement in Landskrona.
Start date: August.
