Content Creator at MNV
Do you want a creative part-time job where you can create content that is actually used, flex your filmmaking skills, and work in a relaxed and personal environment? At MNV, you get the chance to build a film library of instructional and presentation videos that help their customers understand and use their products. This assignment is perfect for you who are studying media, film, or communication and want to fill your portfolio with real projects. You will be offered flexible working hours and a job where you quickly become an integral part of a small, personal, and friendly team. We look forward to your application!
ABOUT THE POSITION
MNV is a small, personal tech company with a big heart and high competence. The company develops and sells technical filter solutions for water purification, products used by everyone from industries to private individuals. The company has its office, workshop, warehouse, and showroom in Nåntuna and works to help its customers achieve cleaner and better water. MNV collaborates with plumbing companies and well drillers across the country, who in turn handle the installation and service of the systems. As a consumer, you can contact MNV directly for tips and advice on water purification, get help choosing the right filter, and receive a quote. Thereafter, the company helps find an installer in the customer's area, and since the systems are delivered pre-assembled, it often works just as well to hire your regular plumbing supplier. The company is run by two people who work closely together in an open and unpretentious environment. The atmosphere is warm and helpful, where all questions are welcome, and everyone helps each other when needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of Content Creator at MNV, you will be responsible for producing videos that show how the company's technical products work. The videos will instruct users on everything from how to clean a product to troubleshooting and maintenance. This involves filming, editing, adding voiceovers, and delivering finished material in the correct format for web publication. The work begins with you making the first videos together with the company's owner. You will receive a technical overview, and the introduction will be tailored to your needs. You will, of course, get to know the products, and thereafter you will be given a lot of responsibility.
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at MNV. The assignment will be part-time and very flexible, but you are expected to work about 1-2 days a week.
YOU WILL BE OFFERED
- The chance to work freely and creatively in a small and family-like company
- Practical experience in creating instructional and presentation videos
- An open and unpretentious work environment where all questions are welcome
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Are a student at a post-secondary level, preferably in media, film production, or similar
- Have experience filming, editing, and adding voice to videos (this can be from hobby projects)
- Are technically curious and enjoy understanding how things work
- Can show examples of similar videos or content you have created previously
- Are very comfortable with Swedish in both speech and writing as it is required to perform the work
It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you:
- Have worked with instructional videos or similar
- Have experience creating clear and pedagogical material
You are a creative and self-driven person who enjoys taking initiative and finding solutions. You thrive on communicating clearly and have an eye for what makes a film both informative and visually appealing. Furthermore, you are curious, technically interested, and unpretentious, and you thrive in an environment where people help each other. Your ability to collaborate is just as important as your creativity.
