Fortificationsverket is looking for an Energy Manager in Stockholm

Where will you work and what will you do?

The operations of the Eastern Technical Unit are carried out in Stockholm and Gotland County, and the unit is divided into two groups - northern and southern - to best meet customer needs. The unit consists of 25 property engineers who primarily perform assignments from the manager and are directly supervised by their respective group leaders. In the Eastern region, there are also two road, land, and park engineers who provide expert support, as well as a technical manager.

As the Energy Manager, you will support the entire Eastern region. The role of Energy Manager means that you have overall responsibility for energy work and work operationally with media groups within the region and the region's energy goals as well as activities in the energy sector. You will also coordinate media reporting, ensure media statistics, and be responsible for follow-up and reporting. You will be the super user for the energy and media module in our property system, Faciliate – a key role in developing and streamlining our energy monitoring work. Additional tasks may include driving energy efficiency measures.

Furthermore, you will provide support and training to other roles in the region within the energy sector and represent the region in activities within the energy sector. The position is based in Stockholm, but travel occurs throughout the region and may also occur outside as you collaborate in our cross-functional energy network and participate in activities at our headquarters in Eskilstuna. The position also offers the opportunity to manage projects/contracts within the energy sector.

What do you offer us?

We are looking for someone with a university or college degree in a relevant field. You have good experience in meter collection and energy monitoring systems, including the construction, monitoring, and analysis of data. You have several years of documented experience leading projects. Furthermore, you have at least five years of experience in energy monitoring. You also need to have good knowledge of administrative support systems and the Office package. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A class B driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience as an energy engineer or energy controller, and if you are a certified energy expert. Knowledge in the environmental field as well as in electrical installations and electrical authorization is also considered valuable. We would like you to have experience in design or system knowledge within control, regulation, and monitoring systems (SRÖ) and experience with the property system Faciliate. If you have knowledge of fortification and construction technology, that is also an advantage.

Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We need someone who is structured, analytical, solution-oriented, and has a high level of security awareness. You have an easy time building good relationships and act professionally in your daily life as you have good collaboration and communication skills. Being responsible and having a high degree of orderliness are important qualities in this role. You are also curious and driven to deepen your knowledge and are not afraid to take your own initiatives to find smart and innovative solutions.
