ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is now seeking a project coordinator for the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit. The foundation supports individuals, ideas, and projects in the humanities and social sciences and operates in three areas: research and education, seminars, and publishing.

A role with varied tasks where you will have the opportunity to coordinate events. You will also handle administrative tasks such as bookings, logistics, and communication. The role may also involve other tasks, such as welcoming guests and assisting at receptions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

• Book tickets and manage logistics for speakers/researchers
• Handle administration and organize lists and logistics in Monday (project management system)
• Update address registers and log projects
• Prepare and send out invitations and registration notices
• Coordinate catering, entertainment, participant lists, allergies, name lists, and minute schedules
• Unpretentious tasks such as assisting with lifting boxes and other practical tasks may occur
• Conduct research and contact speakers and researchers worldwide

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a strong interest in humanities subjects.
• Possesses good communication skills in Swedish as this is the corporate language.
• Also has high-level English skills as the position involves contact with English-speaking academics.
• In addition, you have good system skills and are looking for a long-term role where you can be challenged!

It is a merit if you:

• Have studied a humanities subject
• Have experience with the Monday system
• Have practical experience in logistics
• Have experience in service work
• Have a B driver's license
• Have basic knowledge of video editing
