Linjemontage is a modern company in the electrical power industry that performs contracting work in the field of power supply facilities from 0.4 kV to 400 kV. This can include everything from complex deliveries of complete transformer stations, deliveries of power lines, to the replacement of system components such as remote control, relay protection, etc. Our customers include network owners, industries, and municipal and state administrations. Linjemontage has offices and operations throughout Sweden as well as in Norway and a branch in Croatia. We have over 370 employees. Measurement Technician

About the position As a measurement technician with us, you will be part of a team and work closely with project management and site managers. You will be responsible for measurements, setting out, and handling measurement data – contributing to the success of the project.

You will work on preparing materials for measurements, creating setting out data, and supporting quantity regulation and volume calculations. Together with the work manager and site manager, you will also help ensure correct construction and facility documents.

Your main tasks:

  • Measurements and setting out
  • Quantity regulation and volume calculation
  • Prepare materials for relation and construction documentation
  • Document setting out data and review drawings
  • Assist with tenders

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in measurement technology within construction and civil engineering
  • Experience working with total stations and GNSS/GPS equipment
  • Knowledge of reading drawings, measurements, and setting out
  • Familiarity with programs such as Autocad, SBG Geo, Topocad, or similar
  • Understanding of geodetic reference systems
  • Relevant education in measurement technology, surveying, or equivalent (YH, university, or work experience)
  • Drone experience is an advantage
