Previous experience is desired
We are looking for organ builders for current and upcoming projects. Our business consists of new construction, restoration, and maintenance of pipe organs. We also have an apprenticeship position available through Craft Apprentice.
The work is varied and there are opportunities to develop specialized skills: in new construction, there is fine carpentry and pipe making in both wood and metal. In maintenance, there are tuning, cleaning, and repairs. The craft is a continuation of long traditions but with openness to new methods and solutions.
Experience as a fine carpenter, musician, engineer, or conservator may be relevant, as well as familiarity with similar crafts.
Part-time opportunities are available for the right person.
