Teach in the Vehicle and Transport Program

Västerbergslagens Education Association, VBU, is a municipal association that provides upper secondary education, adult education, vocational higher education, and commissioned training. We operate on behalf of the municipalities of Ludvika and Smedjebacken. VBU has approximately 250 employees, around 1,800 students, and a turnover of about 225 million SEK. Your Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to teach in the Vehicle and Transport Program. You will guide and support students in their learning regarding B, C, CE driving licenses, forklift, wheel loader, and YKB.

The role also includes contact and training of supervisors and follow-up of students during their APL. As a teacher at VBU, you will provide leadership that challenges and creates trusting relationships with high participation. Furthermore, you will communicate and formulate goals and evaluate working methods, methods, and goal fulfillment together with students and colleagues in daily work. You have a good understanding of how students absorb knowledge and their different prerequisites.

Qualifications / Merits

You have professional experience from the vehicle and transport industry and hold driving licenses B, C, CE, and YKB.

You also hold a vocational certificate for wheel loader and forklift license B1.

Teaching certification and/or knowledge in construction is advantageous.

About the Employment Conditions

The position is for the academic year 25/26 at 50% (seasonal employment) with the possibility from Ht26 to a permanent position at 100% if necessary decisions are made. Start date by agreement. We request a criminal record extract upon employment.
