Job Description

The job involves operating and monitoring fully and semi-automatic machines that process metal or similar materials through various methods. It also includes programming and adjusting computer-controlled machines, setting up and inspecting tools, as well as handling machines that shape or cut metal products. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders to be shipped to customers, unloading and loading. Experience with reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts is required.

Responsibilities:

• Follow production plans as well as quality and environmental management systems.
• Manage daily operations and operator maintenance, including planned and emergency stops.
• Keep the facility and premises clean and well-maintained.
• Participate in work rotation and production meetings.
• Promote a healthy work environment.
• Report errors, deficiencies, safety risks, and incidents.
• Participate in training and contact team leaders when uncertainties arise.
• Counterbalance forklift operation and reach truck operation.

Qualifications

• Technical interest
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish
• Minimum 3-year high school education
• Experience with reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Ability to work shifts (shift work is a requirement + may include weekends)
• Experience with SAP + computer skills are an advantage
