This is your mission
You will join a group of knowledgeable colleagues who value commitment and community. Your daily work involves both close collaboration within the group and tasks that require great focus and more independent work.
In the role of case officer with language competence, you will work with translations of Russian in both written and spoken form. You will handle, translate, and compile data from various sources, including from secret coercive measures. You will continuously work to share translated material, both in writing and orally. Other types of case officer tasks are also included in the position.
Your placement will be at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means you cannot work remotely. Travel within and outside Sweden may occur.
These are the qualifications we seek in you
Only those who meet the following requirements will be considered for the position.
· You have acquired the Russian language at university and/or studies at an equivalent level nationally or abroad, or at the Interpreter School
· Very good and broad knowledge of the Russian language, both orally and in writing
· A well-developed language sense and genuine interest in languages
· Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
· Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
If you are applying, you may also have skills that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute something or several of the following, it is meritorious:
· Experience in translation work
· Documented use of Russian language competence in previous jobs
· Academic studies or an academic degree, for example in languages, political science, or law
· Studies in a Russian-speaking country.
· Good knowledge of Russian government, Russian culture, and society
· Experience working in Swedish public administration
· Experience in gathering and compiling information from open sources
· Interest in security, foreign, and/or defense policy
· Familiarity with using various IT systems and databases

The Security Police has high demands for security and confidentiality, therefore we expect you to have a high security awareness.
Employment conditions
Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. Employment also requires a satisfactory result in the security review with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
