About the Company

Byggelement is one of Sweden's leading suppliers of complete concrete frame systems and prefabricated concrete elements. Byggelement produces and delivers project-specific frames and elements directly to the construction site, ready for assembly. With its ECO-Prefab, Byggelement can deliver construction products with the smallest possible climate footprint, reducing carbon emissions by up to 60%. Byggelement is part of the Peab Group. Together with sister companies Smidmek and K-System, they operate in eight locations in Sweden, including four manufacturing units, employing around 350 people.

Your Responsibilities

As a concrete worker, you will play an important role in production, working practically with the entire casting process – from preparation to finished product. You will, among other things, prepare molds by cleaning, oiling, and assembling reinforcement, mix and handle concrete according to given recipes, cast in molds according to drawings and specifications, and vibrate and finish the products to ensure high quality and the correct strength. The work also includes demolding and quality control of the finished elements as well as documentation of the work.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you need to have a good understanding of the properties of concrete, understand the importance of correct mixing ratios and curing times, and be able to read drawings and follow technical instructions. You have experience working with molds, reinforcement, and vibrating techniques, and it is advantageous if you have previous experience in prefab production or industrial concrete manufacturing. It is also a plus if you have a forklift license and/or overhead crane license. As a person, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and responsible. You have good collaboration skills but are also comfortable working independently. The work is physically demanding, so you should be in good shape and enjoy practical work at a fast pace. You have a very good command of the Swedish language.

Application

Are you the one we are looking for? We look forward to reading your application! We work with ongoing selection, which means we invite candidates for interviews throughout the application period.
