Job Description

Are you ready to take on a genuine craft and become an important part of the production of natural stone?

We are now looking for a driven and meticulous Stone Processor/Machine Operator for our client's facility in Näsinge.

Here you will be part of a team of about 75 employees who passionately quarry and refine natural stone – from beautiful artworks to functional walls, cobblestones, and curbstones.

At the production unit in Näsinge, both rustic and modern natural stone products are created. You will learn a unique craft that includes sawing and splitting, and you will contribute to shaping our client's products into their final form.

The work is performed both indoors and outdoors, year-round, and you will work both independently and in a team to solve exciting tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working both independently and in a team. Your personal qualities are important to us – we want you to be a cheerful and positive person who contributes to a good atmosphere and positive results in the group.

You are organized, proactive, and place great importance on safety and punctuality.

As a consultant at Randstad, you are employed by us and work at our client's site. You have the same benefits at Randstad as with other employers with collective agreements and benefits such as wellness grants, occupational health care, insurance, and discounts on gym memberships. In addition, you will also be offered a variety of career opportunities, meet different corporate cultures, and gain experience from various industries, which will help you develop your skills and build a well-rounded CV. The position may involve many contacts, making good collaboration and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include:

  • Machine handling: Loading and unloading from the saw with a loader.
  • Production and Craftsmanship: Reading blueprints, programming measurements in machines, and splitting and chiseling stone products.
  • Maintenance and Improvement Work: Performing daily maintenance and actively participating in the work group's improvement efforts to achieve common goals.

The position is a full-time employment located in Näsinge. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a B driver's license is required.
  • Good ability to speak and understand Swedish is required.
  • High school education is an advantage.
  • Computer skills, forklift license/wheel loader license, and forklift experience are a plus.
