Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Maintenance and Operations Engineer who is passionate about technical challenges in areas such as maintenance preparation, spare parts analysis, cost analysis, and failure effects analysis. In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring that technical information is correctly organized and effectively communicated both internally within projects and externally to our customers.

You will process specifications and technical documents. In each project, you will follow established guidelines. You will provide detailed plans that explain your normal project procedures. Additionally, you will create documents with technical details including handling, installation, and maintenance.

You should have a technical background and a good understanding of system structure; experience in the maritime industry is a plus. Communication is a core function in this role, and you have strong abilities to express yourself clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally. We also appreciate team members who actively contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, who thrive in group settings, and who are comfortable working within project-based frameworks.

Requirements:

• Technical background and interest. Experience from the maritime industry is highly meritorious.
• Ability to manage and organize technical information.
• Understanding of system structure.
• Good computer skills, especially in the MS Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams and projects.
• Previous experience in system analysis is meritorious.

One of Berg Marin's largest customers is FMV, and therefore you will need to undergo a security clearance, such as SUA. Thus, you must be a Swedish citizen and must not have a criminal record.
