Falu Kommun's highest located riding club is seeking staff

Bjursås Riding Club is a non-profit association with about 200 members

and over 100 riders. We have our own facility with a riding hall 20x60, an outdoor arena, and a stable with 17 places. The club has 12 lesson horses/ponies. We currently have three employees. Our facility is located high up in Bjursås in Dalarna in a scenic environment. A conference and camp facility is available on site.

Riding Instructor 38.5 hours/week

The position involves teaching students at various levels, stable duties such as turnout, bringing in, feeding, mucking out, participation in planning activities, care, and training of the riding school's horses.

General information about the position

The position involves work in the afternoon and evening from August 4th to December 19th, 2025. The content of the position can to some extent be adapted to the individual's level of education and preferences. The position is a parental leave substitute up to 96.25% with a chance of extension.

We prefer that you are a certified instructor, at least level 2 training or equivalent. You are a positive, organized, humble, and responsible person who finds it easy to collaborate with others. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and references. A driving license (B) is required, preferably B96 or BE.
