Responsibilities

In the role of Transport Manager, your main responsibilities will include planning transports and following up on the department's daily operations, handling complaints, and ensuring effective communication with both customers and drivers. You will have daily contact with the industry where you receive orders via phone, email, or order management systems, which are then registered in the systems. As part of order management, you ensure that there is complete and correct documentation for invoicing, where you are also responsible for approving and validating the invoices. Since the role involves close and daily contact with customers, customer care and upselling are also part of your responsibilities. 

You will work closely with other colleagues in the transport department, salespeople, and drivers to coordinate and ensure the right service and quality for the customer. You will also play an important role in contributing to the continuous development and improvement of workflows.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Experience in a role involving transport management, work management, or equivalent • Education in transport and logistics • Good understanding of logistics flow • Swedish in speech and writing • Very good computer and system skills as well as good knowledge of the Office package In the role, you are expected to take responsibility, drive, and plan your work forward. You enjoy having many balls in the air at the same time and have the ability to structure your work according to what should be prioritized. You understand the importance of good communication and find it easy to adapt to the person and make yourself understood over the phone. As a person, you are attentive, accommodating, and enjoy helping others. You always put the customer in focus and strive to deliver solutions by working consultatively. Furthermore, you can work outside the framework of your job description and have no problem helping and supporting colleagues in the areas needed. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
