As a Deputy Store Manager at jem & fix, you are responsible for the store's operations when the store manager is not present. This means creating the best conditions for you and your employees to deliver good sales results.

As the right hand of the store manager, you ensure that routines regarding cash handling, deliveries, and working environment are followed, and you constantly strive to be a role model for your colleagues.

You work operationally with the daily store operations, which includes tasks such as ordering and receiving goods, unpacking deliveries, and leading and actively participating in sales and inventory work.

We would like you to be a team player who enjoys spreading positive energy and inspiring your colleagues with your enthusiasm. You are proactive and results-oriented with the ability to clearly communicate expectations and information to your team. You are well-organized and solution-focused even under high workloads and have the ability to prioritize and plan for the best workflow. Ongoing evaluation of your own and your employees' work efforts is something you see as a given. Perhaps you have an ambition to take on the role of store manager in the future?

If you are also a dedicated and handy DIY enthusiast, that is a big plus.

jem & fix is a low-price building market within construction, home, and garden. We are a family-owned Danish-Swedish company that opened its first store in Sweden in 2005. Since then, we have steadily expanded and are continuously building new stores. Currently, we have over 200 stores spread across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, making us the leading low-price building market in the Nordic region.

Employment conditions

Salary according to the Retail collective agreement.

Since the store is open every day of the week, both day, evening, and weekend work may occur.

Employment type: Permanent full-time with a 6-month probationary period.

Work experience

Experience in customer service and/or sales, at least 3 years.

Meritorious if you have worked in retail, have a sense of order, and drive.
