We are now looking for an Orthopedic Engineer for our clinic in Huddinge. The department consists of about 25 employees with extensive experience working with all types of orthopedic aids, as well as a store aimed at private customers and hospital staff. As an orthopedic technology clinic, located centrally within Huddinge Hospital and with newly opened premises in Södertälje city center, we are a natural and highly sought-after partner in interdisciplinary receptions across many diagnostic areas. We have good relationships with other professional groups, and there are great opportunities to further develop these relationships.

Your responsibilities

Your main task will be to receive patients, conduct analyses, and prescribe aids. You will work variably with several different patient groups and orthopedic aids. You will be offered a varied job where the use of traditional and modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily work. In our department, we have many neuropatients focusing on EDS, tone, and polio patients, as well as many diabetes, prosthesis, and acute patients. Since we are located at Huddinge Hospital, we have extensive on-call operations and collaboration with care departments. We continuously work to develop our operations, which can range from our product range to improving our processes, in which you will also be involved.

Who we are looking for

• Qualified Orthopedic Engineer
• Good computer skills
• Preferably good language skills in Swedish and English
• Experience working clinically as an Orthopedic Engineer is an advantage

Employment

Full-time, permanent or by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Start immediately or by agreement. We have a collective agreement. The main placement is in Huddinge, but there is also the possibility to work in Södertälje if desired.
