We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Database Administrator with expertise in PostgreSQL for an assignment with a major player in the financial sector. The role involves taking overall responsibility for managing, optimizing, and further developing advanced database environments in a business-critical IT environment. You will be an important part of a competent team where your technical knowledge and initiative are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases
• Ensure availability, performance, and security in the database environment
• Work with automation around operations and maintenance
• Participate in improvement initiatives and develop technical solutions
• Collaborate with development teams and other IT specialists

Requirements:

• 6–10 years of experience as a consultant in relevant areas
• Deep technical expertise in PostgreSQL and Linux
• Solid experience in automation within database environments
• Have completed several similar assignments with different clients
• Ability to lead and drive assignments independently
• Experienced in mentoring other colleagues
