Villa Djäknegatan is a newly opened nursing home with 80 places.

About the role
You are the spider in the web regarding the health and medical care efforts for the residents and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.
Collaboration and support
You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the residence's group leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.
We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is “Leading without being a manager”.
Getting to know the residents
Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for accurate assessments and decisions.
Clear routines
To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and accessible routines, governing documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.
As a new nurse with us, you will participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into work and our routines.

About Villa Djäknegatan
The residence is located in the Kapellgärdet area, we have 60 places for people with dementia and 20 places for people with care needs.
Your experience and knowledge
You are a licensed nurse and we prefer that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-ill, and this requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are important.
