As a refrigeration technician, you belong to the Secure Power department, which focuses on uninterruptible power and cooling systems for critical facilities, as well as control and monitoring of technical equipment. Together with your team of other refrigeration and UPS technicians, you have a varied role where you act as an expert in refrigeration technology, with a particular focus on operation and maintenance. Responsibilities

In the role of refrigeration technician at Schneider Electric, you will work with both projects and service assignments related to commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cooling systems. You will primarily act as a local contact for one of Schneider's largest customers in Falun, but will also perform assignments for other customers in the area and sometimes around Sweden.

Your workdays will consist of everything from commissioning, preventive maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades. During service visits, you will conduct an initial inspection, connect to the system to perform diagnostics, and analyze any faults. If necessary, you will carry out actions such as parts replacements, performance checks, and system optimization.

As a refrigeration technician, you will primarily work from home and work largely independently but with continuous contact with customers and colleagues. You will collaborate closely with the team's planners and other technicians in the team, as well as technical support to plan and optimize service efforts. The position also includes travel, with about 20–25 overnight stays per year.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Refrigeration certificate

•  Education or work experience in refrigeration related to commissioning, service, or troubleshooting

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

• Experience in the industry, digital or software services, or a strong interest in these areas is an advantage

• Knowledge or experience in control and regulation is an advantage
