Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a mechanic for the water and wastewater operations. As a mechanic within the VA sector, you will play a central role in maintaining and repairing our facilities and systems. You will work with a wide range of technical solutions, where welding is an important part of the tasks.

Your main job responsibilities will include:

• Welding and repairing piping systems, pumps, valves, and other mechanical components within the VA sector.
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics
• Performing MMA, MIG/MAG, and TIG welding depending on the assignment and materials.
• Participating in planned and emergency maintenance work to ensure that the VA systems operate flawlessly.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems that may arise in water and wastewater systems.
• Conducting quality controls and ensuring that welding work meets applicable standards and regulations.
• Documenting completed work and reporting status to the maintenance manager.

The position may include on-call duty.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Technical competence in mechanics or welding, preferably with experience from the VA industry.
• Good knowledge of process technology and automation is an advantage.
• Documented experience in welding, especially MIG/MAG and TIG, and preferably certifications in welding.
• Experience working with piping systems, pumps, and other technical components within the VA sector is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental rules in industrial welding and VA.
• Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form, as well as a B driver's license.
• We also prefer that you have a license for heavy vehicles.
