Linjemontage is a modern company in the electrical power industry that performs contracting work in the field of power supply facilities from 0.4 kV to 400 kV. This can include everything from complex deliveries of complete transformer stations, deliveries of power lines to the replacement of system parts such as remote control, relay protection, etc. Our customers include electricity network owners, industries, and municipal and state authorities. Linjemontage has offices and operations throughout Sweden as well as in Norway and a branch in Croatia. We have over 370 employees. Since 2019, Linjemontage has been part of Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.

We operate throughout Sweden and Norway, which means you will travel during the weeks – therefore your place of residence is less important. Right now, we are particularly looking for reinforcement in the areas around Sundsvall, Västerås, and Kalmar. But the need exists throughout the country.

Job Responsibilities At Linjemontage, exciting and varied assignments within station construction await – no day is the same. Our contracts range from substation replacements at critical locations such as hospitals and industries to new and renovation of transmission stations that supply entire regions with electricity.

As a power installer with us, you will work with the backbone of the entire power grid – from local networks and regional networks to the really large transmission stations. You will become part of a knowledgeable and dedicated team that builds the future of electricity supply in both Sweden and Norway.

And we are growing! By 2025, we need to become at least 18 new team players in the assembly department, and within station assembly, we are looking for about 10 people.

Qualifications It is a requirement that you have basic education in electricity and preferably have a few years of experience as an electrician. For the position of assembly leader, we prefer that you have at least 5 years of experience from similar work. In your working style, you are proactive, meticulous, structured, and enjoy working in a team. A driving license with at least B category is required. Personal suitability is highly valued.
