The role of Installation Manager at Hemla is a unique opportunity to become part of a team with experienced entrepreneurs and strong owners who are on the verge of establishing a premium brand in home security. Hemla has a completely new and unique security offering that combines physical security with cybersecurity and is now looking for someone who wants to help install the next generation of security systems.

About the role As Installation Manager at Hemla, you will be responsible for setting the standard for how Hemla's installations should look, feel, and evolve over time. You will be the first technical field player and from the very beginning, you will help shape both the customer journey and the installation experience.

This is a broad role that combines technology, customer contact, and business development where you are ultimately responsible for installing and commissioning Hemla's security systems. You will for example:

• Install and commission home alarms, cameras, sensors, and other connected security solutions at customers' homes.
• Ensure that each installation is both aesthetically pleasing, secure, and pedagogically executed.
• Provide customers with a safe and personal experience – from the first hello to the final test.
• Troubleshoot and service products as needed.
• Work closely with the founders and development team to improve both product and process.
• Be part of shaping Hemla's future installation team.

About you We are looking for someone who is passionate about security, customer contact, and technical solutions. You are responsible, flexible, and self-driven, and you enjoy being the face of the company to customers.

From previous roles, you are used to installing cameras, alarms, network-based security systems, or equivalent, and you have a knack for troubleshooting and solving problems. You communicate easily and can explain technical solutions in a pedagogical manner. More important than the number of years of experience is that you are solution-oriented, have a strong customer focus, and enjoy creating a positive overall experience.

A valid driver's license (category B) and a clean criminal record are required for the position; we always request an extract from the criminal record.
