Tillväxtverket has the government's mandate to manage EU support, which includes other forms of support measures handled in the Nyps system, which Tillväxtverket develops and manages. The system includes, among other things, e-services for companies, processing clients, and applications for statistics, monitoring, and reporting. The IT unit where you will work is also responsible for system management, infrastructure, and development. To support our operations going forward, we are now seeking reinforcement in our infrastructure team in the form of an IT security specialist. The team works agilely based on the needs of the business and customers.

About the Position

In the role of IT security specialist, your main task will be to support the business so that systems and infrastructure are designed, developed, implemented, and monitored according to appropriate security standards and procedures. Your work will also include driving training initiatives and supporting the work with our external IT operations provider's SOC service.

As an IT security specialist, you will also support the business in increasing understanding of IT security and contribute to ensuring that Tillväxtverket has an accessible, stable, and secure IT environment, which builds trust with our clients and users. Incident management is an important part of your daily work. The assignment may include security testing and analyzing both local and cloud-based services from a security perspective and, based on these analyses, proposing guidelines, principles, frameworks, processes, and improvements that address threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Your work will also involve developing and ensuring structure, policies, and regulations in the management of identities and access. Tillväxtverket applies the principle of least privilege to perform its work.

You will have access to security tools to support your work, such as SIEM and EDR. You will have great opportunities to influence your work based on your skills, initiative, and experience. The work has both a strategic and operational character and may also include other tasks.

Your workplace will be: Stockholm

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of work experience in IT security issues
  • Post-secondary education that includes IT security.
  • Experience and knowledge to drive security-related changes in at least four of the following areas:
    • Infrastructure and System Architecture
    • Networks and Data Communication
    • Encryption Solutions
    • Identities and Access (IAM - Identity Access Management, PAM - Privileged Access Management)
    • Certificate Management (PKI)
  • Experience working with IT security issues and tools such as SEIM, EDR, or NDR.
  • Experience implementing solutions for secure communication
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

The following are advantageous:

  • Experience working with classified security information
  • Experience hardening systems, services, etc.
  • Knowledge of standards for frameworks and guidelines for information and IT security (SS-ISO/IEC 27000, ISO/IEC 27002, NIS 2, etc.).
  • Experience working with outsourced IT operations environments in larger organizations as a customer and/or supplier.
  • Experience with security reviews of in-house developed systems.
  • Knowledge of load balancing services such as Citrix Netscaler.
  • Certifications in IT security that may be relevant to the position
  • Experience acting as a technical project manager during major changes in the area

You have good collaboration skills and are skilled at expressing yourself and can convey information clearly and effectively. You are structured in your work and take responsibility and act to drive tasks forward.

Employment Type and Application Deadline
