We are currently looking for a nanny for 3 children in Djurgården, aged 2, 8, and 11 years. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 14:30/15:00 to 20:00, as well as every other weekend. When you work on weekends, you will have time off during the week as compensation. On Thursdays, the family wishes for you to work until 23:00. The family hopes you will be an extra adult in the household, as both parents work a lot.

Your duties will include picking up the youngest child from preschool and then going home, or to a playground, or doing another activity together unless the two older children have an activity that requires your assistance. When you and the youngest feel ready, you go home and prepare dinner. The two older children come home from school by themselves. Sometimes you may need to drive them to an activity, but it may happen that the oldest goes to an activity by themselves. Often, one of the parents will come home so you won't have to take care of all three children alone. Your duties also include;

*Assisting with homework

*Keeping track of the children's schedules and ensuring that bags are packed for the next day

*Grocery shopping or running errands as needed

*Ensuring that the children's rooms and closets are tidy

*Picking up or packing the children's gym clothes

*Tidying up

*Starting a washing machine if a child comes home with dirty outerwear

The family has a cleaner, so no cleaning is included in the job.

Sometimes both parents may be on business trips, in which case you will be responsible for all three children, but the family also has another person employed in the household who will assist you, although you will have the main responsibility for the children.

The children enjoy being outdoors; the family has a large yard to play in. All the children are very creative and enjoy drawing, painting, and crafting. They are active kids who play sports a lot, with football being the main sport. The children also enjoy baking.

We are looking for someone who is calm and organized, who can come up with fun activities to do with one, two, or three children. You need to be flexible and have presence and believe that children are the best thing there is. The family wishes for you to see the job as a long-term commitment and that you can stay for at least a year, preferably longer.

It may also happen that the family wants you to travel with them abroad, mainly during the children's holidays, but also for a week during the children's summer vacation.

The position starts as soon as the family finds the right candidate. You will be employed directly by the family, and Nordic Light Nannies is only recruiting for this position. The salary offered for the position is between 165 and 200 SEK/hour plus vacation pay. The family can, if you wish, offer a fixed monthly salary equivalent to 120 hours of work. (Corresponds to about a 75% position) This would result in a fixed monthly salary between 19,800 and 24,000 SEK gross plus vacation pay. The exact salary depends on the candidate's previous experience working with children, specifically as a nanny, as well as the candidate's education.
