Do you want to use your accounting skills and become an important team member in a finance team focused on the future? Meritmind's client is looking for a colleague for their office in Norrköping. As an Accounting Economist, you will act as a sounding board for the accounting manager, management, and the business. You will combine accounting tasks with development work to strengthen the company's financial processes. With your unpretentious, collaborative approach, you will play a central role in a thriving finance team. You report to the Accounting Manager and have close dialogue with the business and management.

Main tasks and responsibilities as an Accounting Economist:

• Quarterly and annual financial statements
• Annual report and its design
• IFRS adjustments during reporting
• Ad hoc ongoing accounting
• Efficiency work and integrations in system platforms
• Ongoing dialogue with subsidiaries abroad
• Dialogue with auditors in collaboration with the accounting manager

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics or similar. You have several years of experience in qualified accounting. You are independent in annual financial statements and experienced in preparing annual reports, preferably at K3 level. Previous experience with IFRS regulations is an advantage. You find it easy to navigate the systems you work in and may have worked on development projects related to financial processes. You can express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English without difficulty.
