Familjeläkarna is now looking for a psychologist to join our team in Storvreten!

Familjeläkarna Storvreten is a medium-sized primary care clinic located in Tumba, south of Stockholm, with approximately 9,000 registered patients. We have had a psychologist since 2003, which has allowed us to develop a close and natural collaboration with our medical and nursing colleagues, making us an integral part of the care offered at the clinic.

At Familjeläkarna in Storvreten, we work in teams and closely collaborate with different professional categories at the clinic, such as doctors, pediatricians, and BVC nurses.

You have a strong commitment to patient safety and see it as your natural responsibility to contribute to a positive work environment, with the ambition to help us deliver high-quality care. We place great importance on personal qualities and good communication.

You hold a degree in psychology. A focus on CBT is desirable.

Job description:

As a psychologist in primary care, you will work with the assessment of mental health issues, including determining the appropriate level of care. You will provide support to individuals in crisis and conduct psychological treatments for common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress-related problems, and lifestyle-related issues. You will also perform initial assessments of potential neuropsychiatric conditions and send referrals for further investigation if necessary. We work individually, in groups, or through video calls based on CBT and ACT. We accept patients aged 18 and older. The work requires integrity and independence in patient care while also having the ability to be flexible. To thrive and function in this role, you need to be proactive and self-driven, as well as possess good collaboration skills.
